Medea

Follow this classic Greek tragedy written by Euripides. Exiled by the king, Medea seeks out revenge on her husband who plans to remarry the princess of Greece. Follow as her position in the Greek world is under threat. Directed by Joanne Rowley and Abigail Lane.

The Black Envelope

This is a self written piece by our members of LUTheatre, Sam Kent and Lauren Grimes. A murder mystery which follows a Private Investigator hired to look into the death of a man, previously overlooked by the police force. In the style of film noir with a gritty and blunt air about it.

'Laburnum Grove', a story about a man who, in order to get rid of his sponging relatives, declares to them that he is a master forger. Follow the tale as considerable doubt begins to arise about whether he may actually be telling the truth.

Set in a ruined, post-apocalyptic wasteland; Shakespeare’s darkest and most notorious play explores how Macbeth’s rise to power corrupts and torments him.

Summer term 2016

The Shakespeare Marathon

Celebrating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, we are performing all of The Great Bard's works back-to-back for 24 hours a day for the full 5 days. Performing through the night we will not rest until every Comedy, Tragedy, History, Sonnet and Poem is delivered. Although there is no price of entry, we will be taking donations throughout our performance with donations going towards the Alzheimer's Society Charity. So, be it morning, evening, noon or night, feel free to join us as much or as little as you want, in a celebration of arguably the greatest English writer who ever lived.

Our Shakespeare Marathon raised £1036.18 for Alzheimer's Society! Along with individuals fundraising we raised an estimate of £2596.18 for various charities!
